I cast my vote yesterday. It took barely half-an-hour from the time I set out to when I returned, my finger marked with the ink that proves I voted.
Funny how good it seems. My vote is rather a small proportion of the overall statistics, because around 200 million people were eligible to vote in yesterday's phase of the election. Yet it makes me feel I have done my part in the process.
After all, we reach those large numbers one vote at a time.
